The van der Velde family, owner of the franchise hotel, has sold the hotel to Voorthuizen entrepreneur Timo Kruft, who already operates Hotel De Werelt in Lunteren. Timo Kruft has ambitious plans for it. As of April 1st, the hotel will continue under a new name: De Werelt Garderen, and it will no longer be bookable through the WestCord Hotels website. For hotel guests who have already booked a stay at Hotel de Veluwe, nothing changes. They can still expect a hospitable welcome from the team of the hotel. With the sale of Hotel de Veluwe, there are no more franchise hotels under the WestCord Hotels franchise.
